My Personal Story

I've been an aviation enthusiast since I can remember. When I was younger, spending a Saturday at the airport and watching airplanes take-off and land was not an unusual outing. Every Christmas when visiting my grandmother, I would ask my parents to book me on the longest possible routing instead of the nonstop flight.

I would then turn the nonstop 20- minute flight between Tegucigalpa and La Ceiba, Honduras on SAHSA Airlines, into an hour and half journey. Since then, I've had a fascination with airline food. Sometimes I would even create my own airline meals at home serving them to my siblings while playing "airplane!"

As a kid, I always dreamt of some day becoming a flight attendant. Flying to different places, meeting different people, tasting different foods, and jetting away day and night. Later on, I was finally given the opportunity to work as a flight attendant. After 4 quick years of flying, in a twist of fate, my life took a different path.

I still manage to travel a lot, and still find these meals served in flight amusing.
