United Airlines - Dinner
United Airlines - Dinner
The pathetic F meal on a 6.5 hour transcon. There are 3 tiny chicken bits in that brochette.

Hey it beats my BWI-LAX transcon meal: http://www.airplanefood.net/images/airline-meals/united-airlines/ua46.JPG.php

I guess no appetizers were offered. I can't believe that UA feeds you this type of "meal" for a transcon of this length. Presentation is horrible and the small amount of food is not even worth the effort.

Those nuts in the top corner were the appetizer.
They did have a snack basket pre-arrival - some prepackaged crap in plastic.

It seems that UA is a good airline to fly if you plan to lose weight. They should be the official airline of Weight Watchers.

Agree.... the last time I was on UA from Singapore to Canada, i was constantly hungry ... the portion in each meal was just too little.

This is just a bad, bad joke. I hope Smisek gets to see this since he's now in charge. I don't think he'll be too happy to see his premium passengers paying to eat this slop. European airlines wouldn't even serve this in Y on a longhaul flight.
Let's hope the new UA will take or utilize CO's catering menus for their premium cabins. CO does make an effort while UA, seemingly does not nor do they care much anymore.
This is pathetic and doesn't even deserve one star.
